JELLO 2 CD.
Abandoning some of their previous theories about unplugged music Spinning Jelly went for the hi tech approach on their next album. Using 16 digital tracks the band experimented freely with the advanced sonority available with overlaid tracks. Steve Payne again produced and engineered the recording assisted by Steve Sheard at Pagan Studios in Runcorn. On this album Steve was able to use his full skills as a rerecording mixer, and produced sounds of depth and quality which were a revelation. Rich sounds and sophisticated arrangements opened new horizons for expression of the band's love of music.
The line up was:
The tracks were:

The title of the album, and a small tune within it, were inspired by an impressive ornithological phenomenon seen at Runcorn Bridge at sunset . The bridge is the subject of a dramatic photo on the album cover taken by Allan Robertshaw, a faithful associate of the band.
